ESTATE PLANNING
We offer reasonable flat fees to draft your Trust or comprehensive Estate Plan, our signature service.
ADMINISTRATION
When a loved one dies, legal services are often required to ensure that distribution of that person’s assets is performed appropriately. If you are the Trustee of a loved one’s Trust, you most likely need legal counsel to guide and assist you with the proper performance of your legal duties. We would be glad to consult with you to determine if we can be of assistance to you. Hourly rates and reasonable flat fees may be available on a case-by-case basis.
PROBATE
If a loved one dies without a Trust, their assets may have to go through the Probate process. Whether or not Probate is required usually depends upon the value of the assets. Sometimes specific assets need to go through Probate when the person forgets to fund them into their Trust before they die. We would be glad to assist you with your Probate matters, as needed. Fees are set by statute based upon the value of the assets.
GUARDIANSHIP TRUST
Young parents often lose sleep wondering what will happen to their children if tragedy strikes. By utilizing a Guardianship Trust parents can nominate the future Legal Guardian of their children, and identify key financial assets to be held in Trust for their childrens’ benefit. A Guardianship Trust lets everyone in the family know who is supposed to do what to help care for your children if you can’t.
CONSULTATION and AMENDMENTS
If you have a Trust or Estate Plan, but aren’t really sure what it means - bring it in, we would be glad to review it and explain how it works to you. Sometimes it’s just been a long time since you’ve set up your Estate Plan, and you want to give it a “check-up” to make sure that it is still going to perform effectively. Other times, you might have an Estate Plan and need to make some changes to it. We’d be glad to help. Hourly rates and reasonable flat fees available on a case-by-case basis.
